Connections to Schools and Districts
The plan will focus on an integrated strategy for environmental education. A strategy where environmental education is used throughout the content areas (science, social studies, health, etc.) as an effective tool for better learning. To provide guidance and support to meet district and school needs, an Environmental Literacy Plan will ensure that environmental education activities are aligned with student graduation requirements, standards, and assessments and help achieve state education goals.
